About Road Watchers
Road Watchers is a community-driven log of vehicle-related violations: reckless driving, illegal parking, speeding, blocked bike lanes, and more. Anyone can submit a report with photos or video; the community upvotes or downvotes to surface the most credible ones.
How it works
- You see something. A car parked across two spots, a driver blowing through a red light, a truck idling in a bike lane.
- You submit a report. Upload a photo or short video, pick the violation, and optionally note the plate and location.
- We auto-tag the law. We attach the most relevant statute — your state's vehicle code when we know it, or the Uniform Vehicle Code as a fallback — with a reference link.
- The community votes. Upvote clear, well-documented reports. Downvote ones that don't show what the title claims.
- Escalate if needed. For serious or ongoing behavior, you can build a law-enforcement tip email in one click.
Ground rules
- Don't post content that identifies bystanders or non-involved people.
- Don't publish home addresses or personal information beyond what's visible in public traffic.
- Don't post threats or calls for harassment. Downvotes, not pitchforks.
- Call 911 for emergencies — don't wait to post.
Limits of this site
Reports here are user-submitted and unverified. An upvoted report is not a conviction. Courts and police decide what's actually illegal; we just collect evidence the community thinks is worth sharing.
